I just heard from a college friend this morning by e-mail. She and her husband adopted two girls from Ukraine. I was reminded of how blessed we are to have all of our children. I often look around at families who cannot have children but desperately want them and ask, "God why did You choose to bless us? Are we worthy?" It makes you stop and ask yourself if you are a good steward with what God has given you.

Bloggin' Newbie
Hello, all! I decided to join the 21st century with the rest of the world and start my own blog. I hope to post pictures and share thoughts with those who know me and love me anyway. :)
I've just completed an outfit for Lily that I've been working on (or thinking about working on) for months now. It fits, so I suppose my timing was accurate! While I was in creative mode, I also made her some adorable pink felt shoes. I think I will make a zillion of these for my mother's store, Ewe Knit (you're welcome for the free advertisement, Mother!), and for the Shakerag fair we will be entering in the fall.
Every now and then I just have to make something, or I will go nuts! Painting, sewing, and writing quiet the beast within. I'm itching to paint next and then to write...in that order. Oh, but there is a mountain of laundry to do and dust bunnies to tame, so I often feel guilty about creating. Occasionally, someone or some random passage from a book will remind me that I must do what I was "created" to do, though. Balance is the key, and not many find what keeps them balanced. Making things does that for me. God bless those for whom housework is their balancing passion!
So, tell me what you think of my latest creations. I'll post more as I create more.
